Hello Sylvia, I too am having the exact same problem. Brand new D54250WYK. I installed two of the following:

Listed directly on your compatibility list. I get the power light blinking three times, memory error. Nothing else.
I've tried installing just one or the other SODIMM, no difference. I've also opened up the unit and disconnected the CMOS battery for an hour, as per your suggestion, but I still get the memory error blinking light afterwards.
No change, no improvement.
This is rather catastrophic for a new product. What would you recommend now?
