Running Windows 8.1 update 1 from the Dell XPS 12 9Q33 latest intel drivers installed for all intel devices (Intel HD Graphics 4400 Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 + Bluetooth 4.0). latest firmware for the LG 55LA6200(05.06.05) is installed. Prior to the latest firmware for the LG the XPS 12 9Q33 would create a "projection" connection to the 55LA6200 by means of Intel WiDi or at least the LG would say connecting to Intel WiDi. Once connected things would seem like they would run smoothly. Upon shut down of the devices and returning to them either later that day or the following day I would get a message saying display couldn't connect. I would have to remove the LG 55LA6200 from the list of devices and add as a wireless display again. Upon the most recent firmware update for the LG 55LA6200 (05.06.05) it now seems that the display will connect through either Miracast or WiDi. It appears to choose either option at random and the only constant seems to be that if it connects using WiDi I will have to remove the device (LG 55LA6200) before being able to reconnect. Any thoughts or ideas on how to keep the display from having to be removed each time I disconnect from the display or if there is anything I can do to keep the Miracast option from connecting would be much appreciated, although the ease of fixing the Miracast connection issue or what ever the reconnect issue is seems to be better for my colleagues that don't have a lot of computer or windows 8 knowledge.
