There is one thing I can't understand, the original poster reported that he's using a notebook with an Intel® USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller, and he solved the problem by installing the Renesas Electronics* USB 3.0 Driver. I have a N56VZ Asus notebook, which is a model similar to the one posted by the original poster, with the same intel USB 3.0 controller. I uninstalled the USB Intel extensible driver and I installed the Renesas driver, the problem is that (rather obviously) my Intel controller didn't seem to recognize the Renesas driver. So, how could it be that the original poster had succesfully installed these drivers?
