The latest 32 bit bluetooth drivers BT_17.1.1406.01_s32.exe, from the direct download link of the Intel Driver Update Utility look to install correctly, but inspection of Device Manager reveals that instead of an Intel Wireless Bluetooth 4 Adapter under Bluetooth Radios there is now the old Generic Bluetooth Adapter from Microsoft!!!
Reinstalling the drivers (repair) makes no difference. Still the Generic Bluetooth Adapter from Microsoft.
Is this deliberate?
Edit: Power cycling does not resolve the issue. Still the Generic Bluetooth Adapter from Microsoft.
