Same problem here... Lost two days finding out what the problem is with my computer, went through a total windows 7 re-install to realize it was a graphics driver related problem. Looks like it's been one year and no fix, as the latest intel graphics driver doesnt fix this HDMI problem. It's a shame, cause Intel is the world biggest processor and chipset manufacturer.
