Re: D54250WYKH Wireless mouse & keyboard issues

Sorry didn’t notice this reply - I think I’d lost interest in this thread as there was little helpful response. I did manage to work around the problem using a short USB extension and blu tack to carefully position the receiver.  Reading threads elsewhere I decided it was something to do with USB 3 interfering with the signal and it seemed to be much worse when the receiver was close to the metal case of the NUC.  The keyboard was always less of a problem than the mouse.  Being older it has a long cable and a large receiver which perhaps even uses a different frequency.

Here are the details anyway. Although I have found a workaround, this is a really serious flaw and I hope you fix it.

  • Intel NUC D54250WYKH
  • BIOS version: WYLPT10H.86A.0026.2014.0514.1714
  • Drivers installed or Intel® System Identification Utility code: (utility does not work in Linux) - which drivers are you referring to? I haven't needed to install any.
  • Model number of the memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB F3-1866C10S-8GRSL 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Laptop Memory
  • Model number of the mSATA drive: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB mSATA SSD MZ-MTE120BW
  • Model of keyboard and mouse: (as given above)
    Keyboard: Logitech Cordless iTouch Y-RB6 RT7R00 V:TWUK
    Mouse: Logitech M215
