It would be really good to know:

is my system widi enabled (I've checked with Ark and it appears that the processor on my pc is but because of the trouble I'm having I'm starting to doubt this) and

if it's not is it possible to retro-fit my PC with widi software?

All of the videos I've watched say simply "launch widi" - I've got widi remote installed and I've run the intel utility update but when I try to run the widi setup I just get the message "installsheld wizard aborted this platform is not compatible with intelR Widi or the application is in use"
