Hello, all!
I need your help. I am an owner of S5500BC motherboard and have some troubles using Linux. Every time my system is booting I see with messages on the screen:
[ 0.414850] ACPI Error: Field [CPB3] at 96 exceeds Buffer [NULL] size 64 (bits) (20130328/dsopcode-236)
[ 0.414859] ACPI Error: Method parse/execution failed [\_SB_._OSC] (Node ffff880263ce0f50), AE_AML_BUFFER_LIMIT (20130328/psparse-537)
More detailed research shows it's a problem with ACPI DSDT table. I have disassembled it using iasl
compiler and found some problematic places.
But I doesn't know what is my next step? Linux community state that all firmware issues should be solved by hardware manufacturer and NOT by hacks like ACPI tables injected into kernel image.
Have I got any chances Intel will fix this issue (taking into account my motherboard isn't longer officially supported yet) or maybe I should search another way?
With best regards, Vladimir
