SOLVED!!!
I was experiencing this same issue,
then I realized, my VGA monitor attached to my laptop was not installing the driver for my HD graphics...
Is anything plugged into your HDMI port? (obviously you have one 
) try plugging into a television then attempt installing the driver again...
(error not less or equal means something is missing, or not turning on. - once I really understood what that meant, this just had to be the answer.)
