Can anyone from Intel get off their lazy arse and FLY OUT TO MEET some of the people in this thread? wouldn't this be worth taking a few thousand off of Intel's astronomical bottom line? No one is going to send you their machine.
This is ridiculous, I purposely waited for the 4000 and now I have to reset 20-30x every morning to get my monitor on. Once it IS on it is 100 perfect, so how can this be a cable? I have switched from hdmi to dvi to vga reloaded everything 6 times. In the morning, I get no splash screen, no bios, no post, then i hear windows log on, then "no signal" HOWEVER, once it comes on.....everything is great.... I can power down and restart within 5 minutes and it will reboot with bios, splash screens, all visible.
I can only imagine part of this issue is with older monitors, some PNP issue, or voltage?
Either way I think I am going to RMA this POS 3770k with the (HD -- high deficiency) 4000.
If anyone thinks Intel is SERIOUSLY DROPPING THE BALL on this.....continue to post on this thread. I'm sorry.... but if you mean to tell me you can't send a technician and a programmer with tools etc. to some of our residences, it is a shame.
