I am experiencing the same problem. New Dell XPS-8700 and 240GB 530 SDD. The SSD is visible in the BIOS, but the OS does not see it, and I was hoping to clone the OS disk.
Any suggestions? I don't have the Windows 8 install CD's from Dell.
