Hi thanks for the reply, I have narrowed it down a lot more it is related to an installation of AVG Business, when I turn it off totally it is fine I can ping the board via the board name, when I turn it back on I cant. AVG Watcher is allowed but what else would I need to allow through AVG I have searched but cant find anything.
RE the guide on Ethernet yes I tried it but it also did not work I believe if I can locate what on AVG Business is blocking it will then work ok.
