As the title and previous threads suggest, Windows 8.1 is the ONLY windows operating system limited to 30hz @ 1080p via Widi/Miracast. This has been confirmed numerous times by myself and others by downgrading to Windows 8.1 Preview, Windows 8 and Windows 7 and getting the native 60hz@1080p which results in a huge quality boost not to mention the extra functionality such as adjustable boarders that was lost in the upgrade from Windows 8 > 8.1
My question to support are the following;
1) Why has this issue taken so long to address when it has been brought up and ignored dozens of times on your only channel of support here.
2) Why is Windows 8.1 the ONLY operating system to have a 30hz limitation.
3) If this limitation was put in place for a reason, what are the technical limitations introduced in Windows 8.1 that caused this huge lack of quality that aren't an issue in previous issues of Windows where it can display at full quality.
4) Why is the Miracast/Widi standard along with all of its certified products advertising native resolution mirroring when this clearly isn't the case.
Do not close this thread thinking the issue will go away if your silence customers without providing the service you advertise, I will continue to keep posting here until this issue is officially addressed and fixed as there is no reason for this huge delay in a resolution as I have been waiting months since Windows 8.1 RTM was released.

I have also reported this to the ACCC as it is in clear violation of Australian law (along with many other countries with similar laws)
