Joe, you were clear before but the solution to uninstall Cisco VPN is not a true solution. I must have it for work. In addition when I did try this solution (to uninstall Cisco VPN) it still did not solve my problem because I also had VirtualBox installed. Thus it requires disabling both to make this function work....which is a cumbersome workaround at best. Lechuza's solution to disable in the network properties is much easier to enable and disable whenever Virtualbox or VPN is needed versus having to reinstall and uninstall these programs each time.
Regardless, someone needs to really fix the problem since this is clearly not how it should function.
