Apparently I am using Marvell drivers already, compiled in 2010.
No I haven't used Toolbox on any OS other than my current Windows 8.1, since I did a fresh install in that SSD as soon as I got, so as to use it as my OS storage device.
FYI i just launched Toolbox before I write this reply, and it still hangs my computer on launch. (no reason for it to have changed, but I had to make sure)
